MSR Electronics GmbH built the DataLogger app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by MSR Electronics GmbH at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and other data if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The data we collect is used for providing the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The application is intended to read measurement data from the data logger device and optionally upload the data to the MSR cloud service. In this context following data is handled.
The Application does not obtain any user provided personal information.
Once the application connects to a data logger device it reads out the serial number of the device. This is required to identify the customer and manage the data once it is uploaded to the MSR cloud service. The customer is then able to also access the collected measurement data at the cloud service.
The main purpose of the application is to read the measurement data from the data logger device. The measurements can be visualized online. Measurement data may also be recorded and uploaded to the MSR cloud service. The measurement data contains no personal information, but is identified by the serial number mentioned above.
The application may upload recorded measurement data to the MSR cloud service. This service is provided by MSR. No third party services are involved. MSR provides only cloud data access to the owner of the data identified by the device serial number.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device type, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
We value your trust in providing us your measurement data, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 and we do not collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
